Island Trolley

The Island Trolley offers transportation along routes covering most of the Island.  There are several trolley stops covering the Island.  Look for the Ride the Pony Bus Signs.

Trolley Times & Fare:

Trolley runs daily Sunday through Saturday from 5pm-11pm.  Fare is 25¢.  Please have exact change.  The Pony Express offers transportation along routes covering most of the Island.  Many of the motels, restaurants, shops, parks, recreational areas, ice cream parlors and campgrounds are serviced.

Guided One-Hour History Tour Aboard "The Pony Express"

Every Wednesday beginning in Mid-June until the end of August (no tours during pony penning week)

First Tour begins at 2:30pm

Last Tour begins at 3:30 pm

Adult Tickets:  $3

Children 12 and under:  $2

Ages 2 and under on laps: FREE

Tickets available each Wednesday at 2pm in front of the Community Center

Local volunteer guides will take you back in time and familiarize you with the intriguing history of the Island of Chincoteague.
